About Us

JTC is a collaborative educational program of Adath Jeshurun and Beth Sholom Congregations in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, that is designed as a supplementary Jewish educational program for students in 8th - 10th grades.  The school aims to provide substantive and meaningful learning experiences and deepen the relationship of our teens with the beauty and wisdom of Jewish text and life and help them know and understand the rich history and culture of the Jewish people. We find importance in the continued learning of Hebrew language so that teens become competent and confident with understanding the language of our people. We value our teens maintaining a relationship with the synagogues and clergy, and we always emphasize positive socialization and warm relationship between our students and staff. We want to provide a space for teens to connect with other teens and build a strong Jewish community.
